Clicking on Pop-Up Menu Locks up FileMaker

This is strange... It only happens when I am using the FileMaker 7 server version, connected to a remote host--not locally.

When I click on a field that is set to display a pop-up menu with values from a value list, it works fine when all records are displayed, but if I perform a Find to limit the number of found records and do the same, it turns the cursor into an hour glass and I have to delete the FileMaker process.

This happens on more than one pop-up with other value lists, so I don't think it's a problem with the lists.

Ever heard of this before?
