Show path to image files

Featured Replies

(1) I am trying to create a field showing the path to an image I placed in a container. (2) Ideally the path would be a button opening up the exiting file. Anyone who could help me?

Try the GetAsText() function, with your container field name in parentheses. For some good info on parsing the file name or the file path, take a look at Post 176985.

Hope this helps!

A simple solution. Copy-paste the icon in a container. Instant succes.

But then you don't have a file path, so there's no way to open the original via FMP. I thought that was your objective...or am I missing something?

Clicking on the image of the icon/filename in the container takes me to Photoshop opening the image there. Good enough for me! Thanks.
