OK, Panic over... I discovered that for some reason, while Fm accepted my wonky TO name yesterday, today it does not. I tried omitting all of my non-alphanumeric characters from the name and the merge fields worked again. I narrowed it down to a colon in the name...just a single colon, not a double colon, and I am NOT having this problem with other T/O's that STILL have the colon in the name. I'm going to pull them all out just to be sure.

PHEW!

...and NO, FM gave no warning that I could find of this issue. As far as FM is concerned, the single colon is just fine. In fact, it's still fine just as long as you don't use merge fields as far as I can tell.
