FMS 5 on XP Pro on Windows 2000 Domain

Okay, so I have this client still running Filemaker Server 5 on a Windows Server 2000 network. I finally talked them into getting a separate machine for the FMS. It had been on one of the domain controllers. To make things easy, I just bought a cheap machine and put XP Pro on it. Then I put FM Server 5 on it. The machine is part of the domain and using DHCP. However, no other machines on the network can see the databases from Open->Hosts, even if I put in the exact IP address. Any ideas?

Well first you need a static address. Second check to be sure that the databases are set for multi-user and not multi-user hidden.

Third, XP is not a supported OS for this version of FileMaker Server. Hence the results may be unpredictable.
