ggh Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I swear I've done everything right, but..... I've got a report with several parts: 1. header - shows title 2. sub-summary when sorted by location (location of classes held in an after school program) 3. sub-summary with sorted by class title (shows name of each class taught in a given location) 4.Body - student names (identifies kids registered for each class) 5. sub-summary when sorted by title - displays count of kids registered for each class 6. footer - current date and page number All of the data shows correctly when sorted by: location, title, attendee in that order. I can't get the page numbers to work the way I want them to work. I want a new page to start with a new location starts, so in part 2 I have "page break before each occurrence" and "restart page numbers after each occurrence checked". It almost works. A new page does start, and the page numbering restarts for each location. The problem is each location gets two-page 1s. As an example: page 1, page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4, etc. What have I done wrong?
