Does anyone know when the Server Advanced version 8 will be released?

Nope... Been trying to find the answer to that myself. We have our preorders in, but no news yet. Was supposed to be "Fall, 2005" but rumor has that date may be slipping.

What's interesting about all of this delay is that FileMaker won't ship Server 8 to it's FSA members untill 8 Advanced comes out. :therethere: I wonder why?

As it happens, I also sent a message to FileMaker and I just received this:

"We still have the Fall of 2005 (up to December 20, 2005) as the projected release date of FileMaker Server 8.0 Advanced."

Is winter officially December 21st this year? just kidding.

This is not the venue to be discussing FSA policies. However, Server 8 is shipping and has been for some time. I and other FSA members have been installing it at clients.
