I am sharing several databases via web and network with FMP7.1 on a Mac G5. I have a PC in the same bank on the network running FMP6. It cannot see the files that are being shared when the server ip is entered. Another PC running FMP7 and the other Mac running FMP7 see the files just fine. I tried removing the .fp7 suffix from one of the shared files but that did not help.

Are you trying to access (see) the .fp7 files on the PC using FileMaker 6? If this is the case, Open files in .fp7 wont display in the Open Remote dialog box of FP6.
