We use in our company FM database amongst maximum 4 users at a time. Database was created in FM Pro 7 few months ago and it was running fine with no problems. File is hosted on dedicated Mac computer and accessed thru Remote command by Windows XP users from Dell machines purchased this year.

Recently we did upgrade to FM Pro 8 and each of users has experienced the annoying message "Communication with the host was interrupted and cannot be established". It happens each 15-20 minutes. Connection is broken and it has to be start all over again.

We tested different options (new Windows XP pc as a host, new Win XP pc as guest, another Mac machine as quest, completely new easy database from scratch, new Windows guest user, reintall FM PRo 8 client). Problems dissapeared totally when we switched back to FM Pro 7.

Anybody else experienced that problem? We like PDF functionality of new FM Pro 7 and are dissappointed that this version doesn't work correctlly in our environment.
