New record issue

Featured Replies

I have a new record script that provides a set_field value.

If the user selects Records > New Records, they will circumvent this important scripted step.

Is there a way that this senario can be avoided?

Hi

autoenter calc for that field can't help ?

HI Daniele!

Thanks for the input; I appreciate the help.

That autoenter calc is fine for table1 -- the table you are in.

Is it possible to autoenter into a specific field of another table (table2)? If you could by this feature, I did not see how ...

Is there a way that a calc field will be triggered by table1_ID (autoenter serial number), for example, to fill the target field in table2?
