Is there something you have to turn on/off to recieve the messages that are sent to you through FMServer?

I was making changes in a DB that is live, one of my users was logged on to it. I did the send message it offered me and they tell me that they saw nothing.

Do I have to do something?

I'm running FM7SA and the client has a WINXP machine (Although Mac users can't see the message either.)
