xochi Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I have a solution with over 100 layouts. I'm trying to organize the layout list so that the developer(s) can easily find things. I have some dummy layouts that are named "----- Reports -----" and "---- Data Entry ---- " etc. This helps visually organize the layouts. I'm using Mac OS X and FM 8 Advanced. However, I'm having a hard time figuring out the type-ahead behavior. For example, I have layouts named "Worker.Contact", "Worker.Financial", and "Worker.best" . If I click the Layouts popup and start typing "worker" it will jump to "Worker.best" which is third in the list. I wish it would jump to the first "worker" layout instead. Anyone figure out how the type-to-select works?
skrying Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 I think it's jumping to the first entry that matches what you type alphabetically. In this case "Worker.best" comes before the other two.
