Hello, I am trying to add a new layout that I created, to an already existing file with multiple layouts in it....

I saw that you could export records, but am I able to export the layout and then import it into my existing document?

No, you can't export your new layout...

Yes, you can import it, but wit copy and paste !

If the fields that are in the new layout, are also in the destination file, your job is ended !

you will have to recreate the layout parts though...

header, footer, subsummary, etc.

Thanks to both of you...unfortunately the destination file does not have the same fields as the new layout, and there are alot of calculations....do I have to recreate them?

calculations don't live in the layout, they live in the field definitions...(whether they should or not) So if you paste the layout into the new file, you can just redefine what field the layout object refers to by double-clicking it, and choosing the appropriate field from a list.
