Mutliple to Multiple

Featured Replies

With extensive work arounds (not for the user) I created multiple to multiple related databases (FM 4.1). We recently ordered FM 5. Will the new version make it easier to create this type of database? I'd also like to know if anyone else has created a mutliple to multiple, it would be educational to see other styles & ideas.

Thank You

Jessica

If you look at the inventory/integrated solution example, you'll see how to do many-to-many relations in FMP.

For m2m relations that require no link-specific data/tables, you can use multiple-key fields to form an m2m relationship without a link table.

Look in techinfo for techniques for many-to-many relationships.

The way FMP handles many-to-many relationships has not changed.
