Random unexpetcted error with xsl:component

Featured Replies

Hello all,

some days ago I added the bsf.jar and the js.jar files to my filemaker server 7 adv. v3 (running on a G5 Mac OS 10.3.5).

I'm still experiencing some unexpected XPath errors some times (randomly: reloading the same page the error seems to be fixed, and this thing happen only on those page where I use the xsl:component and where I define and call some javascript 'server side' function.

Any idea?

PS: I followed all the FM instructions before install the jar files.

filemaker adv. 8 fixed this problem (bsf.jar and js.jar are included in it!)

Well,

in fact I think that, even if bsf.jar and js.jar are embedded in the new fmsa (8), the use of xsl components still to make filemaker crash.

I'm experiencing this.

I'm afraid that I will use a client side solution to encrypt data.

This is not what I call a 'secure choice', but I don't see other thing to do..

md5 client side.. sgrunt! }:(

Not sure, but you might check http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/extensions.html do see if you have done everything correctly with xsl:component

Hello,

I followed the filemaker guide to add components on my web page.

I will read this xalan guide too, thank you.
