Odd Formatting Anomaly

Featured Replies

I have a weird situation -- some of my fields display text as Titlecase, even though the field is formatted as plain text. The field is a plain text field, without any auto-enter calcs. Try as I might, I cannot enter a capital letter in the middle of a word, which is frustrating for some names. (Also, if I try to redefine the font as "lowercase," it still displays as Titlecase.) Other fields on the same layout do not have the same problem. What could be going on?

Also, if you have an answer to this one, you might know how to strip and then add formatting, which is necessary to output to Word and other programs. I've tried TextStyleRemove and TextStyleAdd, but they don't work to genuinely change the stylistic attributes of the text.

Make sure that the Text Format Style for that particular field does NOT have a checkmark on Case and the Title Case is not selected.
