I have a data file. My primary field is the job number field. I want to find all duplicates that have the same job number. Is this the correct way?

Find Mode

in the job number field I put "!"

press enter

This should find all duplicates in that field.

Yes or No

or is there another way?

Thanks

Yes, finding for ! will find records that have the same value for that field.

Removing/omiting duplicates, however requires a few more steps. You can find numerous past threads on this subject by searching the forums.
