Zipping or other compression after export?

Are there any plugins that someone knows of to take an exported text file and then zip it without needing to go to a separate app eg winzip?

I am daily exporting text files each of which can be up to 100mb ... average per day is 300-400 mb of data to be sent which can be zipped down to between 5 and 10 mb for FTP purposes. I am currently using TroiFile to take an exported text file, substitute field separators and then rename and move it to a storage folder.

What i would really like to add is an automated zipping of each file so that it is then ready for FTP to the external site over the internet... any ideas???

BTW the database is running in FM v8.02 runtime app and end users are mainly in a windows environment. Each text file needs to be zipped separately... the process at the other end does not allow for multi file archives so putting a zip (or other compression ) as part of the export process for each file is what I am trying to achieve
