Global loosing color

I used paste to put color in global field. When I go out of FM7 and come back all my colors are gone. What causes them to loose contents?

Hi Ivan,

Global field contents are saved to disc when a file that is either single-user or is presently opened on the *host* computer (ie in a peer to peer networking situation) is closed.

However when a file is opened as a guest/client, global field values are lost when the client session concludes.

Could that be what is occurring in your case?

Yes, its a hosted file. I guess I did'nt realize that the global is only session specific. I will pull the file off the server and fix Globals and re-install. That should do it. Right?

Ivan

That should do it. Right?

Yes. That will work. :
