Elliot Jolesch Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I have been away from Filemaker for sometime, and new to Version 8. Here is what I am trying to do. I get an employee file from HR every Monday morning. It is all of the employees of the company. The only difference between Week 1 and Week 2 is Week 2 will have new hires and will not have anyone who has left the company. I am trying to figure out how to import the file each week and identify those employees who have left the company (1 report), & new hires (2nd report). Also, I get this file every week, so this would be an ongoing problem. Ideally if I start this file on the first Monday of January this year, and then run it weekly until the first Monday of January next year I could run a report of all new hires for the year, all employees who left (and the week they left), plus a report of all current employees. Can anyone offer me where/how to start solving this problem. Thanks Elliot
