Linking 1 DB off another

We use FM5.5 w/ server to manage our e-bay auctions. Right now it's really simple, but we're expanding. It has fields for titles, description, and the pictures and from that it generates the body for the auction, etc. Everythign is sorted by auction #. We now want to have FM generate the e-mails for us. Since i have so much stuff crammed into the main DB i want to create a second one and have it pull from it. So like, search by #, then go to second DB where you put in the db and it does all my calcs for final prices and generates the e-mail. Is there an easy way to do this or should i just put it in with my main DB? The only data held in the second DB will be e-mail address, mailing address, and the e-mail itself (which i think i'll just do as a calc and tell it not to store it). Thanks.
