Seems like the plugins I've tried (grab, InsideScan, MyTwain) all support scanning a 1 page picture into FMP.

But I need a way for my (lazy) users to easily scan a multipage PDF and dump it in a directory and pass the directory on to Filemaker.

Insidescan seems to get closest, but only gets 1 page and doesn't support pdf.

I'm using FMP 8 and it can be on Win or OS X...

Any ideas?

We had exactly this problem and I was pulling my hair out. Same platform and everything. Our answer was not cheap, but worked perfectly. Once we switched to scanning with Adobe Acrobat full it worked fine to get multipage scans from a flatbed. We further enhanced this by getting the Fugitsu pagefed scanner. Now our power users do not have to flip the pages on a flatbed. We scan checks, reports, multipage documents, even driver's licenses right into the database.
