Non web Shopping Cart Example request

Hi, does anyone have an example filemaker( 7 file) of a "shopping cart" that works on a stand alone PC. not via the web or in a network situation. The reason I ask is I need some ideas on how to go about creating my own version of same and I'm a bit lost. (well totally really)

My variation will be: I have multiple suppliers that it will be possible to buy from and therefore the user (after doing multiple searches) will end up with, anything up to 10 purchase orders (& up to 12 items per order), to print out (or email) to different suppliers. by the time he's finsihed ordering parts.

Please tell me if I'm asking the impossible or going about it the wrong way.

You see my current table (fields) holds part numbers/prices/(etc) from multiple suppliers.(10 of thousands)(which I'm importing from several spreedsheets) I do a comparrision search with another table holding alternative part numbers to find out if any supplier is offering the same item under a different part number and end up with a result in a portal with say anywhere up to 10 suppliers of that 1 item.
