User login from existing teacher table

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to establish logins from an existing table in the database.

I have a student, teacher, subject, grading database and I would like to pull my login to the database from the teacher table. So during the login I can set a field to become populated from the creation function (account name). I use filemaker server 8 to serve the database

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance
