February 24, 200619 yr In v7, choose export records, and then choose excel format. In v8, there is a new option (with not much different results) Save/Send Records As->Excel... Then you just choose which fields to export, the export order, and any formatting to apply. Adding this to a script can cause this to be repeated w/o a dialog, and in v8 exported to dynamic filenames (with script variables) based on field contents.
