Newbies adworks Posted February 25, 2006 Newbies Posted February 25, 2006 I got the following message. "The access privileges in this file have been damaged or possibly tampered with...." I tried to recover the file but got the same message. The file is not shared and is only on my hard drive. I didn't touch the permissions and no one else has had any accesss to it. Any suggestions, or am I just out of luck????
Reed Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Any kind of forced quits or crashes while the file is open can cause corruption. Changing the file's permissions shouldn't affect the access privileges. You could try opening the file on another machine just to be sure, but it sounds like you'll need to revert to your most recent backup file...
