Boot Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Filemaker seems to display linked images in container fields according to their print size (ala QuarkXpress) rather than pixel dimensions (ala photoshop & web browsers). This makes some low-resolution thumbnails unviewably small in filemaker if they have been generated without adjusting the dpi setting -- a common mistake that browsers mask. Is there a way to change filemaker's behaviour so that the dpi setting is ignored for screen display purposes?
Reed Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 In layout mode, you can right-click on the container field and choose graphic format.... Then you can choose how you want to scale your images based on the pixel dimensions you specify for the field on the layout.
Boot Posted March 7, 2006 Author Posted March 7, 2006 Aha! That should do the job. Silly me for not finding this one. Thanks heaps.
