Crashing caused by value lists

Featured Replies

I have a value list which looks up values from a second file. When I use the option of showing a second field from that file in the value list, FMP simply crashes each time I try to use the value list. Any help much appreciated. For those who understand these things, I get the following techno-babble.

I had the same or similar problem. The value list had values from another file. I notice that FM crashed when showing a value from a specific register. The value on the second field shown was supposed to be a short description, but instead the user made a big description with several uncommon chars. I don't remember exactly if the problem was the size or some of the chars, but I made the description smaller and deleted strange chars and the problem was solved.
