My Washington D.C. client seeks a qualified developer with at least 3 years of development experience in FileMaker Pro 6, 7, or 8 and at least 1 year of working with 7 or 8. Relevant experience in MS Access will be considered.

This position will be responsible for defining, creating and maintaining a wide variety of cross platform FileMaker databases and systems for our editorial and business departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong relational design, advanced scripting and GUI skills. Prior experience in print and online publishing will be helpful. The position requires direct communication with technical and non-technical staff, therefore candidates will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates with additional skills in HTML, XML, SQL, JDBC/ODBC, and project management are preferred.

Candidates should be willing to work in the DC, MD, VA area and be authorized to work in the USA.

This is an on-site, salaried position in Washington D.C. Please no offshore or telecommuters.
