'Expected end of tag' error with DDR

Hi everybody,

I am trying to run a Database Design Report (FMP Developer 7) for a database I suspect is damaged, and get the error "Expected end of tag (Layout)', and then not report is created.

I am wondering if anyone knows what is this about. I supposed is something with a corrupted layout - and even deleted some that looks like they were corrupted - but I got the same error and no report.

As I am thinking about recreating this database from scratch, I am also wondering if there is an easy way to copy the relationship to another file - I mean, after re-creating the same tables & fields definitions in the new file. I understand FMP Advanced 8 allows you to copy the tables and fields, but not relationships. Or maybe there is a easy way to print the relationships definitions, besides the graph.

I appreciated any help.

Thank You.

Gustavo

If you are creating the DDR from files that are being hosted, open the files as the host instead of as a guest and then create the DDR. I have had some trouble creating a DDR as a guest of files.

I tried that and still got the error.

I copied the database (it's hosted) to my Mac and opened from there.
