I have a vendor table that is related to the product table. Each vendor-product combination has a price.

I enter a quote (price)record in a separate table and the vendor product price updates to match the most recent quote, using a lookup.

I'd like to update the price also by taking the last price from the invoice items. Should I just write a script to create a new quote record every time I enter a new invoice item?

Is this the best way to update a field from multiple different layout/tables?
