Numeric order

How do I get FM5 to list numbered records in a real numerical order ie: 1 to 100+ without "100" comming after 10 and before 11?

if you define the field as a number than it should put them in order numerically when you sort by that field.. ussually what you are describing is because the field is defined as text.
