Value list from Multi-user file

Featured Replies

I have a database that draws one of its value list from a shared multi-user file on a server. When setting up the value list it gave me the option to select values from another file on the network and I specified the IP address of the server when choosing a host. However, the IP address doesn't seem to be part of the relationship.

It still seemed to work ok so I went ahead and distributed the database to other people on my team. It works fine for most of them, but a few will consistently get a Database not Found error when opening it. When I go to their machine to try and fix it, I choose Hosts to find the shared file, but it isn't there. They seem to have their machines set up right and they can see other databases, just not mine.

I realize this is more of a networking issue than a value list problem. I just thought I'd throw it out there.
