Hi all,

I've just migrated a system running Server v7 to Server v8 (and then patched to 8v2).

I stopped the relevant services, then used the Backup Settings Tool to save all the paths and schedules from v8 before removing Server v7.

Then installed v8, and used the Restore Settings Tool to, well restore the settings!

Everything is fine, except one minor detail. The default Database Path can't be changed or set (it's greyed out) and sadly is set to the old v7 path. It's not an operational issue as I have the db files under a custom path, but I can't change the default which points to a older v7 server path, and hence can't remove the final parts of the v7 folders due to this issue.

Is there a workaround or solution, is the setting available to change elsewhere?

Happy Easter!

(Server v8 running under Win Server 2003)
