Hi everybody,

I succesfuly login FileMaker Server Advanced Web Publishing Administration Console

http:localhost/fmi/config

Then I tried to login Publishing Engine Configuration: Authenticate Web Publishing Engine Access

using the same identifier/passcode that I created at filemaker server.

WPE Admin User: xxx

WPE Admin Password: xxx

But I got error "The Publishing Engine user name or password is not valid".

Hmm...does anyone know where I can create that wpe username and password to login publishing engine screen.

Thanks.

The WPE username and password is not the same as the ID and passphrase you set in FM Server. There are three user/pass sets on the way through configuring your FMSA web console:

1) The Web Admin Console user name and password

2) The Web Publishing Engine user name and password

3) The FM Server ID and passphrase

#3 is the one that you entered in FM Server. #1 and #2 are set by you (or someone) the first time you log in to the Web Admin console; it asks you to type in an username/password/verify the password for the console, then sets that and asks what server the WPE is on, then asks for the user/pass/verify for the WPE and sets that once you enter it, and *then* you can worry about your FM server ID and passphres.

So it sounds like your WPE user/pass was already set earlier.

Thanks George Nassar...

I didn't remember WPE Admin user and password that I set for first time log in to web admin console.

Now I cann't log in Web Publishing Engine Admin Account.

error :D "The Publishing Engine user name or password is not valid.".

How can I set a new WPE user and password back.

I tried to reinstall Filemaker server web publishing engine and doing back from scrath.

But Web Publishing Engine Admin Account doesn't ask me to set WPE Admin User and password.

I don't know, what to do right now. Does anyone know how to solve my problem.

Please....

Thanks.
