ok I just went and tried to make a login/password for my fmp8 file and now I cannot access it!

I didn't realize I needed to create an account to log in with before I assign a username and password.

I discovered this after attempting to repeat what I did to lock myself out and locked myself out of another temp file.

What I did was go to "File" then "File Options".

I gave my file a username and a password and clicked ok.

Filemaker then tells me "This file will be opened automatically using the specified account. To use a different account, hold down the Option key (Mac OS) or Shifrt key (Windows) while opening the file."

I go to open the file and now it won't let me log in using the username and password I assigned.

Is my data now hopelessly lost forever or is there a way I can get around this and actually log back in??

PLEASE tell me this isn't locked forever...

Try the default account "Admin" with a blank password.
