Possible for CWP database to execute script in an IWP database?

Is it possible for a Custom Web Published database to execute a script in a database being Instant Web Published?

Here is the basic scenario that I desire:

1. User types a URL into a web browser.

2. The index.html file for that URL redirects the user to CWP database.

3. The CWP database then executes a script in a database that is only being IWP'd.

4. The script in the IWP database runs and updates the browser window to display the layout that the script is told to go to.

Is this scenario possible? In my preliminary tests, I can't seem to get the browser to switch from CWP to displaying the IWP layout.
