Running Server Admin 8.0v1 remotely (to a Mac server). Should I install v2 and v3 updates on the remote client if only the Server Admin portion of the software has been previously installed?

OK, there is no v3 update for the SAT Tool. There are v2 and v3 updates for the Server. And you should install them; they contain very important fixes. You'll need a v2 SAT Tool to manage Server v3.
