Runtimes created in 8.0v3 have incorrect reference for default app

I have been working with a particular file in FM8A and have been creating runtimes to test at different stages of development. Let's call it File A. I have read that some people were having issues with the runtime tool so I tested a couple of different files this morning.

All the new runtimes I created were using single user files. I have left them all with the default .USR extension. I have created each of them with a unique name and their own folder.

Here are the problems I encountered:

1. Every single one the .USR files I created this morning reference File A to open them and display the following error message: "This file can not be opened because it does not belong to this solution" and then proceeds to open the File A runtime. I can correct this in Get Info or right clicking and changing the Open With but it still says that the default is File A.

2. When creating the runtime, there is no status dialog box, only a spinning beach ball (Mac OS). There is no cancel button and no message advising me that the runtime is complete.

Any suggestions. I think this is a bug.

You might want to try and reinstall. I just created a runtime, and didn't experience the problems you described.
