hi..

i currently doing leave application for staff management system using fm8. When staff make an application, they have to wait for admin approval first. my problem is

1. if previous application from the same staff apply leave on 1/5/06 - 2/5/06 and 5/5/06 - 6/6/06(approved by admin). Let say if the staff apply another leave on the 2/5/06 - 5/5/06 (not yet approve by admin). How to let the staff know that he/she has been already applied on that date

2. each time new application is made, reminder will be sent to admin by e-mail. is it possible to do it?

You can use a script with the Send Mail script step to send an email to the administrator when a new application is entered.

I have attached an example of a script based on what it sounds like you want.
