joelsaltzman Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 I have a container field that I put a 400 by 400 picture into named RV5000.jpg I want to have a script or automatically duplicate and resize that picture into another container field as a 200 by 200 picture and rename it RV5000_medium.jpg Any suggestions?
John Mark Osborne Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 The only way FileMaker can resize a picture in a container field is to make the field bigger or smaller. Make sure you have the Graphic... settings from the Format menu in layout mode set to "reduce or enlarge". This way, you won't need a second field. Just a second occurrence of your field resized smaller.
joelsaltzman Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 Yeah, I did that but when I export the picture, it doesnt change the actual size of the image. It is still the same size. It only makes it look different in the fm database.
