Newbies purvisa Posted June 22, 2000 Newbies Posted June 22, 2000 I am (primarily) a home user, so I hope that my question won't seen to simple. I am still using 4.1 (I'm a student...), and I have a database that I want to have display a list (check boxes or pop-up) that eliminates an entry when that entry is selected. I want it to simultaneously enter the value that is being removed into another field. I realize that this will require a script, but I can't seem to make anything work. Any suggestions?
ZuperZZ Posted June 22, 2000 Posted June 22, 2000 Hi, What you mean with "entry", a entry into a field ??, or you want to erase a entire record identified with a word ?? zz

Newbies purvisa Posted June 23, 2000 Author Newbies Posted June 23, 2000 Sorry, btw, about the double post. The databse needs eight values in each of two fields when I start (call them A and :. With each new record, one of the values will be selected in A, setting that field to the selected value. Meanwhile, I want that same value removed from the value list of the B. In the next record, I want A and B set to the values found in the preious record's (now modified) B. Then, when a value is selected in A, B is once more reduced.
