I am (primarily) a home user, so I hope that my question won't seen to simple.

I am still using 4.1 (I'm a student...), and I have a database that I want to have display a list (check boxes or pop-up) that eliminates an entry when that entry is selected. I want it to simultaneously enter the value that is being removed into another field.

I realize that this will require a script, but I can't seem to make anything work. Any suggestions?

Sorry, btw, about the double post.

The databse needs eight values in each of two fields when I start (call them A and :. With each new record, one of the values will be selected in A, setting that field to the selected value. Meanwhile, I want that same value removed from the value list of the B.

In the next record, I want A and B set to the values found in the preious record's (now modified) B. Then, when a value is selected in A, B is once more reduced.
