FM Server 5.5 on Debian 3.1?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to get FM Server 5.5 to run on Debian 3.1 (the latest). At work I have it working on RedHat and Fedora and I got it installed on Debian (using alien to convert the rpm to a deb package) but then I don't succeed in getting it registered or even started. The error message is known to me as it's the same that you get when trying to run it as-is on RedHat > 7.2:

fmserverd: relocation error: fmserverd: symbol __on_exit, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

The thing is that I don't know how to solve this issue on Debian ... anyone got a clue how to do that?

Thanks,

Bernd
