If they give us the ability to import tables......it would even better if we can select either to import the tables' scipt, layouts, valuelist, custom function and the realtionship/table occurence.

Your wish has come true! FileMaker 8 Advanced has the ability to import or copy/paste tables (via the Define Database dialog). Even regular FileMaker 8 has the ability to import an existing table and make it a new one with all the fields plus all the record data (via Import Record dialog).

FileMaker has had the ability to import scripts for a long time now but FileMaker Advanced will let you copy/paste scripts or script steps. We're still waiting for the ability to import or copy/paste layouts, value lists, custom function and table occurrences/relationships.
