Relationship between Group Purchaser and Procut

Hello all!

Kudos in advance to all who respond to this. I've read some breathtakingly advanced answers so far... And apparently I'm not quite advanced enough to understand them. I'm pretty sure this is an easy question, but my brain is at it's limit today.

I am a complete newbie in FMPro and my Access days are long gone. I supposed to be creating a database for our company to track group and individual enrollment in a variety of of health-related programs that we sell.

We currently offer six programs. Programs 1-4 can be purchased by a group (for example, Acme Company) or endorsed by the group and offered to group members for individual purchase (Joe Smith works for Acme Company; Acme endorsed our product(s) to their employees; Joe Smith buys a product). The first is called Group Purchase and the second is called Voluntary Enrollment. Programs 5 & 6 can be sold as above OR sold to a distinct individual, that is, one without a relationship to any group. This is Individual Enrollment.

If the product is sold directly to the group, either we sold it or an agent or broker did. If it was sold individually, we are always the seller.

My question comes in on relating the products purchased the groups or individuals and whether it was via a broker or directly from us. How do I relate what is purchased to the group or individual and whether it was done via us or a broker? I'm pretty sure that at some point in the future I will want to find all the members of program A, but not the members enrolled individually without a group, and by broker X, etc. What am I missing? Where is the relationship between my groups and individuals and the programs they purchase? More specifically how do I set up the relationship betwixt the tables so that I'll be able to reflect it accuratly on the form?

I've attached my fledging database if you care to look at it and critique/suggest.

The Bare Facts:

Group can have many Members

Members can be a part of only one Group or are Individuals

Group can have two sellers: us and Broker

Group can purchase one program only (Group Purchase)

Groups can purchase one program and make other voluntary (Group Purchase AND Voluntary Enrollment)

Groups can purchase many programs and make one voluntary (Group Purchase and Voluntary Enrollment)

Groups can purchase no programs and make all voluntary (Voluntary Enrollment)

Members do not have to be part of a group, but those members can ONLY purchase programs 5 and 6 (Individual Enrollment)

Thank you.
