I'm using FM 5.5 Server on a Windows 2000 machine.

Administering it from FileMaker 5.5 client (win2k)using the Admin plugin. When in the Remote Admin tool window, go to Open File and select FM db and get the error message, "Error occurred; unable to open file." Important to note: I can close the file using the Remote Admin tool, I just can't open it when I'm done with it.

Sharing is on in the selected db. Permissions appear to be a go-go on the server. I can open the FM db on the server using client software but get an error message that a network issue is preventing sharing.

However. If I start the FileMaker Server using Services, all FM files within the folder open. So this appears to be limited to the Remote admin tool.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!
