email from served db?

I am working on a DB that will be accessed via web browsers. The database is served from FileMaker Server Advanced. I'd like the server to send an email when the user is done, is this possible?

It seems to me it isn't, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

I know the Send Mail step isn't web-compatible.

With Custom Web Publishing this should be possible.

I assume you mean that FMP would send out some XML or something out to a web app that would send the email.

Too complicated for my little skillz.

Check the XML/XSLT forum, there are some examples for download there (even one that works with IWP / CWP mixed).
