Script to show all dates after a found date

Featured Replies

I have an FMP6 DB with records indexed by date.

I can manually Find then show records after a particular date (=>xx/xx/xxxx) but I would like to write a script to automate it.

I can't work out how to add the => after scripting to enter Find mode.

Can someone help me please.

TIA

Stephen

If I recall it right is it Insert Calculated Result you use to produce a string to put in the field your need to search, in order to circumvent field-level type-check validation.

With Filemaker 8 has this really been improved:

Some of the new date search features in FileMaker Pro 8 are just what I've always wanted. For example, you can type in a range of "Monday...Friday" or "Mon...Fri" to locate all weekday dates. Or, you can use wildcards to locates all dates on January 1st regardless of the year by typing "1/1/*". You can also use curly brackets to specify a range of months such as "{1...6}/*/* to locate all the birthdays in the first 6 months of the year. Try these same techniques with time fields like wildcards.(...).
