Upload and linking of images in a FMApp Client/Server extranet configuration

Hi,

we're creating a FileMaker DB (FM8A) hosted on a FM8Server over a MacOs X Server 10.3, which will accept connections from Windows and MacOsX clients over an extranet link.

As in this solution we have to manage images, too, we are trying to avoid the "embedding" and trying to procede as follow:

1 - Accept embedding by a client.

2 - Control existence of the uploaded image on server disk.

3 - Export to the server disk in a predefined directory.

4 - Re-Import the image "by reference".

It's all going well locally, but when in remote we can't understand to which directory on server images will be writed to, and, therefore, neither from which directory re-link them.

The exporting and relinking path could be something as:

fmnet:/IPAddress/Directory/

We tried setting it as a SharePoint through WorkGroup Manager of MacOs X Server, and setting write and read privileges to FMSAdmins.

Still it's not visible from clients...

Thanks in advance for any (mean ANY!!!) hint :P
