tapededitions Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 Is there a way to disable keyboard shortcuts? Some of our employees occationally hit duplicate and don't know it. We then have problems with our data intergrity. I was also considering setting-up passwords. Do you think passwords are a good idea? Mindy
Vaughan Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 You can disable the menu commands (which kills the shortcuts) but you'll need to provide your own buttons and scripts to replace the functionality. Disable the menus with passwords. Passwords are your friends.
Steven H. Blackwell Posted April 5, 2002 Posted April 5, 2002 Take a look at SecureFM plugin from New Millennium. It can handle all these items, including disabling any menu or menu item. http://www.newmillennium.com HTH Old Advance Man

henrik_ahlgren Posted April 24, 2002 Posted April 24, 2002 To disable the menu commands kills the shortcuts thats in the menus but I still is stuck with the Ctrl + Tab that takes me to a different layout. Can I prevent this in some way? //Henkan
